By accessing or using ACOS ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
ACOS is a platform for discovering specialty coffee, tracking coffee experiences, and connecting with coffee enthusiasts. The Service is available as a web application and mobile applications for iOS and Android.
Account Creation: You may create an account using email and password, or through third-party authentication providers (Google, Microsoft). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Account Responsibilities: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activities.
Your Content: You retain ownership of content you post (photos, reviews, ratings, notes). By posting content, you grant ACOS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service.
Content Standards: You agree not to post content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards.
Privacy Controls: You control the visibility of your content through privacy settings (public, friends only, or private).

The ACOS name, logo, design, and all related intellectual property are owned by ACOS. Third-party content (coffee shop information, roaster details) may be owned by their respective owners. User-generated content is owned by users who created it.
The Service integrates with third-party services (Google Maps, payment processors, OAuth providers). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for third-party services.
When purchasing coffee beans through the Service, you agree to provide accurate payment information. All sales are processed through secure third-party payment processors. Refunds and returns are subject to individual seller policies.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Information about coffee shops and products is provided for informational purposes and may not always be accurate or up-to-date.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ACOS from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of others.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
